We are a creative first company. 

Creativity comes in many forms. It’s not just about visuals or video. Creativity in the form of solving problems, making ideas better, coming up with new innovations, and thinking of new ways to help make the complex, simple. Creativity is one of the most important attributes we’re looking for in people. If you’re not a creative person, learn to become one. Creative people naturally make connections to things that others don’t see. They can question why the status quo might not be the best way forward. Be creative, relentlessly, in everything you do.


We are the best at what we do.

These are the rules we live by, the standards we hold ourselves to, the way we work, and what we expect from everyone who wears the Hype badge. This is Hype.

Excellence is our baseline. Every single thing you do will be judged by the lens of the best. This is unfair but completely the point. And if that scares you rather than excites you or motivates you to be great, then you are not in the right place. Don’t be offended by harsh reviews because standards are so high. Learn from them and repeat the same to others. When something is exceptional, recognise it, learn from it and replicate it until you can produce something even better. 

We have deep pride in our work and our reputation.

Our reputation is everything. We are only as good as the latest client that recommended us to others, or the words somebody used to describe us to their colleagues and friends. Every post, deck or campaign a team member does, shapes how people describe Hype, and we are proud of that. Remember, whether online, onchain or IRL you are always representing Hype.

We are opinionated and proud. 

Being unopinionated brings no value to the table at all.  Clients don’t pay us to do what we’re told, they pay us to add value. You’re in your position because of your skill, experience and knowledge. Don’t hide it, use it and don’t be afraid to have an opinion, even if incorrect. It’s what feeds and drives creativity and excellence.

And on that note…

We challenge, respectfully.

Our clients do NOT always know best. We are the marketers, they often haven’t done this before. We have. We challenge the status quo when we feel it's not going to work.


We don’t settle for “fine”.

If a client or colleague tells you it’s fine, that's not good enough. We don't take things at face value. If you know it's not good enough, it's not good enough. They should be breaking down your door, and shouting from the rooftops that they are blown away by how much you overdelivered for them. Only then can you say we have done enough.

We own our shit.

Mistakes happen. That’s fine as long as you learn from them, and don’t shy away. We see them as great opportunities to be better next time and we share and own them so others don’t repeat them. Remember, no crying in the casino. 

We are proactive problem solvers.

“That’s not my job” doesn’t exist here. We have no time for those people. Everyone contributes. And seniority is not a pre-requisite for wisdom. Whether you joined yesterday or 7 years ago, we all solve problems and find solutions together.
If we have to pull an all-nighter we do it weeks before a launch, not days before.

We stay humble.

Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less (C.S. Lewis) 

We are great at what we do, but we aren’t foolish enough to think we can’t learn and be better. Standing still thinking you’re good enough is a sure fire way to hit a ceiling. We stay hungry to learn, every day. 

We are a curious bunch.

We love to ask questions. That’s our cheat code. It opens up more productive discussions and drives creativity and innovation in everything we do. It helps us question assumptions and spot opportunities others wouldn’t.  It forces us to constantly reevaluate our mental models so they don’t become obsolete.  

We do everything with integrity and openness.

We build in the open. No shady backroom deals, no projects we wouldn’t proudly share with the world. And we are people of our word. We’re here to move crypto  and the digital asset space forward, together, and proud of the industry we work in.

We embrace fun and enjoyment.

Marketing is, and should be fun. We spend too much time doing it not to enjoy it. There really are no stupid ideas. 

We are family.

We care about our teammates and strive to make sure things are better for the people we work with around us. We do our best work when we enable, and not prohibit others. That’s why we work in a way that's beneficial for everyone, and never just focus on ourselves. A happy team is a productive team, and the health and happiness of our people comes first before everything.
